UPDATE: Just spoken to James, he hadn't heard anything, so I brought the bad news it seems. No idea what's going on now.

Yep, it's true. Sigh.

... have clipped a load of people off the list as they've not friended/or unfriended me for whatever reason. If you were one of these people and I was wrong to do so, then tell me and I'll add you back again.
Doesn't matter whether you are against war or not, please read and sign.

With the growing numbers of wounded personnel repatriated to the UK and with continued growth in medically discharged personnel since the Falklands war to current conflicts and operations, our service men & women and veterans of previous operational service are owed the best medical care possible. The existing facilities are falling short and the NHS are not meeting the needs of veterans who still need treatment for their service related conditions. A dedicated Military & Veterans Hospital will greatly help resolve this National scandal since the complete closure of our military hospitals that has proved to be total folly.

... am vaguely more awake than I was last night so I shall attempt to recount the highlights of the last few days... I will no doubt forget things that will either be added later, or mentioned in later posts.

Thursday: )

Friday: )

Saturday: )

Sunday: )

- Overall it was top few days, and I had a lot of fun. Am over the moon for my Cuz and Mandy - who I believe are off to Italy from tomorrow for their honeymoon. :D

Hmm, wondering if I forgot anything in all that - shall see what my brain remembers.

Now I am off to bed. Night all xx
... I apologise now, but this will be a completely nerdy post and most likely only of interest to those who are fans of Firefly and Serenity.

Also because I am conscious of not ruining things for people if they've not seen the series or film yet, I'll put it behind a cut in case of any spoilers )

I will of course understand if people don't respond and simply sake their heads at my level of nerdity.

MSN Users

I spent part of this afternoon talking to what I believed was [livejournal.com profile] silks_ic on MSN, who claimed to be working from home.

After some initial paranoia, and then some direct trick questioning I came to the rapid conclusion it wasn't him.

I then informed said person I was heading to his house - I did so, no Dug, no car, no sign of him. Came back to find the person logged off.

Have left message on the real Dug's answerphone to call me.

Just wanted to make people aware that someone seems to be masquerading as him.

If this is some elaborate scheme to make me look like an egit - then well done - you seem to have succeeded. However if it's not then Dug's MSN/Hotmail has been hacked into.
... in case I forget to txt anyone tomorrow - Merry Christmas to you all.

Today has seen me getting ready to be a fab hostess for tomorrow by doing a lot of prep for Christmas Dinner.

I've baked a cake, made most of the cheesecake, prepared [livejournal.com profile] woodbrook's nut roast for cooking, and with a bit of help from Mindy and [livejournal.com profile] bitofadrizzle sorted most of the veg. (Help! I'm being Domesticated! I need to do something to counter this at some point soon!)

In usual Prior tradition (and a bit of a crappy one it is if I'm honest) whenever I cook for lots of people I've managed to injure myself - twice in fact this year. I've manage to grate my finger slightly whilst grating some oranges, and when I dropped a knife it landed point down on my foot. Thankfully not a bad cut, but an amount of blood and a lot of whinging.

Hopefully this means I won't hurt myself tomorrow - but I've not burnt myself yet, so we'll see.

Bed soon I think, as have to be up early to start the cooking, but hooray for having friends over on Xmas Day, am looking forward to it.

Nighty night and much love to all.

V Tickets

Is anyone interested in a camping plus weekend entry ticket to V (the Stafford venue not Chelmsford) this weekend?

It's going for £175 (I believe), and if you want it you'll need to get in touch with me asap.

Am trying to find a buyer as a favour for a friend.

Reply ASAP.
