My car got clamped last night. Was most annoying, but sadly accurate. Didn't have any cash in my account to cover it, so a huge thanks to Neill and Paul for helping out.

Star Wars was good fun, next one should be interesting, need to find out if Darren and Elle are going to be there before I can say if I am going - unless I get ordered from on high to be so.

Weekend was ok, Friday night I was knackered and that carried over to most of Saturday, spent Saturday night playing boardgames with Linda, Sarah and Marc, then Sunday daytime we went to 'Collectors World'.
An odd place in which an old rich, eccentric has stored all the stuff he's collected over the years - including the world's largest collection of tie pins and padlocks. He also had Little Nelly from the James Bond film. Very odd.
You have sparked off yet more of my keeness factor.

Not only am I all enthused about Star Wars, I have also e-mailed off my first ideas for the Neverwhere LRP too!

Talk about burning the candle at both ends - I'm knackered, and have a stupidly busy week ahead of me.

Was a good weekend though. Dan and I were up until 4.30am Friday night playing WoW - only reason we were on so late is because I had started making my Lekku, and needed to wait for the latex layers to dry.

Consequentially got up late-ish on Saturday, pottered about doing more on the tails, re-dying my hair red, and playing WoW - then stayed up silly late (3.30am) again whilst Dan did some paintwork on them.

Sunday I got up earlier, convinced that the Star Wars game started at 1pm, found out that it didn't start until 7pm, which was a bit annoying as I had to cancel plans I'd made with [livejournal.com profile] nortysarah - really sorry Sarah!

Didn't do much on Sunday, except find stuff for the game, then about an hour before going to get [livejournal.com profile] reindeerflotila I got the worst headache. Finally found some drugs about 10 mins before, so took them and headed out hoping it would go - I'd spent most of the weekend making the damn Lekku there was no way I was going to miss it.

Got to game after a smooth journey into London (I decided to drive all the way in), and after a pint of coke the headache started to fade. Was struck by severe self-consciousness when in make up and with the Lekku on my head, but managed to leave girls loos and integrate with the others.

Soon got over my fear when I had loads of positive comments head on me, and got XP award for costume before time in was even called. Game was a lot of fun, lots of politics (like Vampire only less fangs and blood) and a good laugh. I didn't do or say much as I was finding my feet - but I will go again.

Got a bit concerned on the drive back that my GPS was trying to abduct me - by leading me south over the river, instead of north, but eventually it got me home. It turned out it was set to avoid the congestion charge areas, which is why it took us the long weird way.

Got home at 12.30, crashed out by 1am.

This week I am out every night - Monday to Wednesday is the Dress/Tech Rehearsals, then Thursday to Saturday is the Performances, finally Sunday is take down.

I want a rest!

Well who'd have thought making lekku would be so tricky.

The tails themselves are made, and about to be painted blue - then someone how I need to get them to stay on my head in something that looks IC.

*goes to find leather offcuts*
Meg is still completely adorable, and starting to get used to Dan and I. She's still a bit skittish, but her need for affection outweighs that, to the point where I had to stop playing X-Men Legends 2 last night as she kept head butting my hands so I'd stroke her. :)

On a nerdy note I reached 40th level in WoW last night and have my horsey! Huzzah for Paladins not having to cough up the cash for one. :)

Star Wars tonight! Woo!

Star Wars tonight!

Star Wars

Last night was very cool - spent the entire session on 2 wounds and 5 vitality - in other words one weak blaster shot could have easily killed me permenantly.

So several tense moments came of Rich and I trying to sneak around, very aware of the fact that there was a Destroyer Droid somewhere on the same level as us, a room - a slight noise tipped us off to where it was - a few feet to my left behind a console.

Cue much mental panic, then a decision to leg it (silently).

Was very good. :D
.... just wondering what we're going to be able to do to top last weeks session.... hmmm....
..... hmm, maybe going to Cloud City isn't such a good plan... I mean I'm the group's scoundrel, and I don't partcularly fancy getting frozen in carbonite...

Nah that won't happen, I mean I don't have any upset people after me...

.... oh dear.

She still flies! What a relief!

Moved the Silver Fox to an abandoned mine so we could fix her up, whilst hiding from the Imperials. Fight over was a bit touch and go, but my amazing jedi pilot skills kept it all together.

Still scruffy, but still the prettiest due to not suffering from radiation poisoning, being covered in oil, or being a Droid. Scruffiness may be remedied by the water that was retrieved, but not that hopefully as keep finding bits of Jawa and Wookie hairs in it. Yuck.

Oh a fight. Stupid Imperials. Went an hid in cockpit to avoid getting shot. Lied through teeth over radio, with a bit of luck they’ll leave us alone until we can make a break off the planet.

Hmmmm, wonder what Bespin is like this time of year?

Blimey. I think I need to have a sit down, I just came over all heroic, very unlike me.

For some reason I decided to charge 1 Twi'lek bounty hunter, and his two mates. His two mates were sat on a speeder, one with a large mounted gun, the others had blaster rifles.

What on earth was I thinking? I mean I'm not trying to impress any of this lot.

Did do some very good combat rolls though, think I am a secret Jedi ninja.

Got parts for ship, and still prettist despite rumours of being scruffy lookin'.

Go me.
1) Find Hyperdrive
2) Install Hyperdrive
3) Get off stupid rock of a planet
4) Hide from the Empire

Never tell me the odds.

Star Wars

Matt, Sue, Rich, Dave,

Just realised Dan can't run Star Wars on Thursday night due to us being in Cardiff. Are any of you guys able to make it tomorrow?

Please let me know.

If Sue, Rich and Dave can make it then it'll be no different to us doing it on the Thursday as Matt couldn't make it anyways.

Hopefully you all can come though.
HAN: (sounding official) Everything is under control. Situation

INTERCOM VOICE: What happened?

HAN: (getting nervous) Uh...had a slight weapons malfunction. But, uh,
everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here,
now, thank you. How are you?

INTERCOM VOICE: We're sending a squad up.

HAN: Uh, uh, negative. We had a reactor leak here now. Give us a few
minutes to lock it down. Large leak...very dangerous.

INTERCOM VOICE: Who is this? What's your operating number?

Han blasts the comlink and it explodes.

HAN: Boring conversation anyway. (yelling down the hall) Luke! We're
going to have company!
.... you all ready to blow up the power station with thermal detonators?

Another fun filled session, and yes there was a fight, which I managed to avoid but being cool and scoundrel like.

Got to intimidate a big fat slaver despite only having an intimidation score of 2.

Achieved goal of planting bug on an Imperial, bet that bites me later, and got to do a neat combat roll - not that anyone saw it.

Dave caused a Stormtrooper to start hosing down civillian in a reign of uncontrolled blaster fire, Matt's Wookie beat someone to death with a table, and we finally met up with the Rebellion.

Might have a ship soon too! Woo!
Second session tonight.. woo! Am such a nerd.

Am anticipating a blaster filled fight. Woo!
