Firstly, thanks to all who were nice about my job loss. I am a great deal happier about it all now. As [livejournal.com profile] kheeram said I would have gone mental with all the stress in about a months time or so.

Am having a rest week with some job searching and will begin in earnest next week.

But anyway, lets talk about .

Got on site about 11.30 on Thursday evening, put the tent up and then Dan and I decided we couldn't be bothered to go down the bar so we went to bed.

Before falling asleep I get a txt message from Dave Kyte telling me he's in A&E as he's had his foot run over by a white van. The stress started here.

I got up horribly early to go down to the Guilds and to check what time the meeting was, then began setting things up. Shortly after that Dave S turned up and we got things sorted pretty quickly.
I spent the rest of Friday in yellow running out plot which wasn't too bad.

One of our annoying players hadn't recognised me straight away due to not being green and so came and told me this. He followed that up with the comment of "You know, you're surprisingly pretty." He quickly then told me that was a compliment but I was a bit speechless.

Dave K turned up in the late afternoon and despite being on crutches wasn't too bad, the bone was just chipped. Then I disappeared off to play Charlotte for a bit.

Brought [livejournal.com profile] castorlion's new character in also, as he's now playing Charlotte's brother. He was nervous, which I can appreciate as the first time I met everyone as Charlotte I didn't really know anyone, then downed two pints of cider on an empty stomach. Was interesting to watch. It didn't help that the first thing someone said to me was "So Charlotte is this your idealistic but happy go lucky brother then?"

Went and sat with the Company in their tent, did not get as drunk as I would have liked to. Wandered back down to the Bears with [livejournal.com profile] kheeram, as he wanted to see people, then I went off to bed.

Saturday was good, much rping and plotting. Things went a little tits up as 1) We didn't get a linear like we were promised and 2) A monster never turned up (Don't apologise again! Your apology has been accepted!)

Sunday, well Elani did a lot of psturing about how she would have liked to beat the crap out of Dai McTaff, but sadly he was a Liche, had unlimited Necromancy and wielded a Living Bane sword. Also Dave can run, which is not usual for main plot monsters, so self preservation kicked in and I ran like a girl.

It did seem though that everytime, myself and the group of players with me, we stopped to try and figure out where Dai was he was right in front of us and heaing in our direction at a fast speed.

Still he got dealt with, and sadly Bedo died. It would have ended on a high note if we hadn't have lost Bedo, but that seems to be the trend this year. Too many wellknown people dying.

After that was all over we started to take the Guild down, and roughly finished about 9ish. Didn't get home until about 11.30pm.

Then of course I got up horribly early on Monday morning, only to not even make it into the main part of the office and got told I wasn't required anymore.

Ah well.
