Well *touch wood* my headache has gone. Seems the penguins were right about the tartar sauce and twiglets combination. I think Waddle's singing helped too.
Poor little guy, he's putting on such a brave face, but I know he's as unhappy as I am.
He and Whipsnade helped me pack our things, for our trip to the Prior/Johnson Polar Research Station, then we slid down the ice-slide to head out for the ice flow.
Found
nothingtoyou at the bottom, and we offered to share an iceberg with her, which she agreed.
Wasn't as cold as it has been this morning, but then it is Antartica. The four of us jumped on the next iceberg and started to drift down the flow. As we did we saw
castorlion coming out of his igloo, running late it seemed, so we steered the iceberg over and he jumped on board as well.
About 30mins later Waddle, Whipsnade and I had dropped
nothingtoyou off at the Penguin University, and
castorlion at the Antartic Environment Agency, and we'd arrived at the IEF (Institute for Eating Fish).
Hopefully the day will go quickly, so we can resume our journey north to the Research Station so I can see my Dad and Linda.
