Pub Meet

It's been ages since I've been to one, and last nights was pretty cool. Lex and I got there just after nine due to a late departure from Hatfield.

Much frothing was done, and only a bit of it was LT related, which was nice.

I stopped going to the Pub meets because I got sick to death of them. Certain people just going on and on about rules/plot/lammies etc really got me down.

Now I go to chill, and have learned how to switch off my hearing. So yes last night was cool as Maelstrom was the high point of topic, also System Overide was pimped to me, so it does look like I'll be going along.

The fact that it's in a nuclear bunker really was the starting point, how can you pass that up?

Must learn more about world etc so can write a background.

Also many have found 2 more people to go to Slasher this weekend. *fingers crossed*

Shopping and Sticks

Went round the rest of the charity shops and the indoor market today. I think I now have everything I need to play (in order of intending to play):
A cheerleader
A punk
A generic 70's person
A nerd

And I also have misc kit should I die more than 3 times. Can't wait.

Tonight however, I shall hopefully be beating stuff up with a large stick...

I would like to claim that I've become a vigilante set to rid Hatfield of it's Hilter youth, but in truth I shall be being a nerd and playing thewhitespider's D&D game. :-D

On a plus note...

.. I really do only have to work with Mr Jason bloody Foulsham for only 1/2 a day.

Tomorrow I have a half day, so I can go to Slasher, and the next week (my last week doing this infernal job) he's on leave!
