So Maelstrom....
... in a word... BRILLIANT!!!
This event was so much better than the previous three and I can't wait for the next one, really want to see my downtime report.
Bad points:

thewhitespider I don't mean you, you not being there was only a minor inconvience, whereas other absentees screwed up right royally!)
One long queue in GOD to find Gordon had been overruled and things became trickier.
That was it for the bad points I think.
Good points:
My downtime return was all good and Matt Pennington had made good on his promise to sort out the last minute hiccups, so the Alkyon colony had their food. I was quite amused by the fact that I got cut-pursed for 5 rials (this was in downtime), the aggravation from that faded quite quickly when new aggravation replaced it.
Guarding a slave auction was never going to be the best of jobs for me, but I managed to do it without stabbing any of the bidders, but did end up buying two slaves. Going to put them to work (fully paid) on ship for a year, at the end of that time they can either continue to work for me or go on with their lives.
Had drunken conversation with sister (she was sober, I was drunk), which although I was also drunk for I was playing it worse IC.
Went to a wedding. Saw a hanging. Avoided getting married on Hitchin' Day.
Had to kick a group member out for piracy, and take back their ship.
Made another large payment on the Audacity, and reckon it'll be ours again by the end of the third event this year.
Watchedindykid drink a potion as his punishment for striking down kheeram. Missed kheeram drinking his, thankfully. After the amount he and I had drunk the night before I am glad I didn't get one as well.
Have come to the conclusion only one of us ever gets a hangover when we go out drinking. Still Kurt Michaels and Taff Dan's manservant were very funny.
Oh and don't mixed Archers and Ginger Whiskey together in mouth then gargle.... it causes an interesting burning sensation on the way down.
All good. Can't wait for next one.
