... still so gorgeous, even at 61.

His talk was fantastic, he was really funny, and it was so worth not getting home until after midnight to meet him.

After the talk I book a copy of "Himalaya", and got in the 1hr half queue to get it signed by him and Basil Pao, the photographer.

I was so flabbergasted when I met him that I missed my chance to talk to him properly - but it's probably for the best as I felt that saying "I used to have reoccurring dreams about you." would have freaked him out.

Will be watching the tv prog on Sunday (9pm BBC1), but will have to find people to record the rest for me as events will be in the way.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] nortysarah for sorting us the tickets. Was absolutely fab!

Dave will be turning up quite late tonight, then tomorrow we're going to the Harts Meeting at the Pub.

Rest of Saturday I am not sure about, but I believe Dave will be staying until Sunday morning.

Sunday I may go to the Wolves event, or I might pop over to Milton Keynes to see Elvis and co at a convention that they are running.

Why? Do you have something wacky to suggest?

It was like that when I waited in the queue to meet Jason Cole (Marcus) and get his signature. When we got to the front, a mate and I were having a bit of a barney, and he said "Ahh. Lover's tiff.. do carry on." while Rych was stood there... was kinda embarassing but funny. My mate turned and said "nah, her other half is *that* guy" (pointing). Weirdness.

Glad you had a good time :)
